It grants loans to members only against securities of immovable properties within the city or on the security of deposits, movable such as gold, silver, jewelry, Kisan Vikas Patra, National Saving Certificates Scheme, Insurance policy and other government securities on such terms and conditions as may from time to time be prescribed in law for Nidhi or Mutual Benefits companies.
